Elternpop is a resource for international parents in Berlin, run by Carol Munar. If you have any questions about this policy, you can reach us at contact@elternpop.com .
We only collect data if you give us permission to do so via the cookie banner. If you decline, no tracking data is collected at all.
If you accept cookies, we use PostHog, an analytics tool hosted in the EU, to understand how people use Elternpop. This helps us know which guides are useful, where people get stuck, and how to improve the site.
PostHog collects anonymous usage data including: pages visited, clicks, approximate location (country/city level), browser type, and device type. No names, email addresses, or personal identifiers are collected through analytics.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address through Brevo (formerly Sendinblue). We use it only to send Elternpop updates. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of any email. We never share your email with third parties.
We use cookies only for analytics (PostHog), and only if you accept. We use your browser's local storage to remember your cookie preference so we don't ask you every visit.
We do not use advertising cookies, social media tracking cookies, or any cookies that follow you across other websites.
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Since we collect very little personal data, the simplest way to exercise these rights is to email us at contact@elternpop.com .
You can also withdraw your cookie consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for elternpop.com, this will cause the cookie banner to appear again on your next visit.
We may update this policy as the site grows. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
